I bought the 'brownstone' color from the official Ugg site, but came here to snag another pair because Amazon has a great color selection. I wear a 6.5 in street shoes so that means I wear a 6 (or even a 5 if 5 is on sale) in UGG. Peeps, you always order UGGs down. Especially the suede ones. They do stretch and although they feel tight at first and you think you got bad advice, in a month you now have perfect shoes. Whereas if you buy your street size, they feel right at first but in the same months' time you have clown shoes. They're too expensive to have clown shoes after a month, right? Order down. The big exception I think is if you already know you have wide, wide feet. I have narrow ones, so I don't have personal experience but all the reviews mentioning the boot REALLY REALLY is too small seem to have wide, mutant feet.😉 This boot is NOT as stretchy as the Classic suede ones. I still ordered down and they still fit, but it's a much tougher slog and I think it will take them many moons to stretch. I would have been SOL had I ordered a 5 in these puppies. The texture and lack of slouch makes it MUCH more like a 'real' boot, so if you want to be comfy in UGG but you think the suede ones are silly looking, consider these. They do have the same moon boot shape, but trust me they are somehow less 'ugg-y' looking to the public. They also are 'more' waterproof out of the box than the suede ones but if you are picky, I would still treat them. I would 100% buy this particular UGG style again. PS: for those of you crabbing that you got fake ones and the only evidence you gave was that they were made in China, please know that ALL of UGG Australia's ugg-style boots have been made in Asia for...I mean, going on a decade now at least. Meaning, the moon-boot shape ones. Some of the styles that look like normal shoes are still made in Oz, but demand for the moon boots outgrew their capacity in Australia years ago and all the factories that produce them are now elsewhere. The official website is happy to tell you this. They don't hide it. Nor are they trying to imply otherwise in my opinion. The brand name they trademarked was UGG Australia. You're not going to give up your trademark just because you move a factory, although I agree it would be GREAT if they could move all production back to Oz. But then too, they've been an American-owned company since I think 1995, folks. Do you feel your Apple products are fake because they are made in China? No. Now, you CAN get fakes on Amazon. If you do, please put in your review the stuff that gives it away, AND which seller you used so we can avoid them. But the one fact of them having a tag that says 'made in China'....that's GOOD. If you get a pair of classic boots that says 'made in Australia', they're either fake or EXTREMELY vintage.

Couldn't get my foot past the small stovepipe boot top ...

They are probably nice boots but I would recommend that a person find a store that sells these particular boots and try them on in the store ... I do not bad mouth these UGG Boots because I have a pair of UGG Boots that I have had for years ... they are still nice boots, that's why I wanted another pair in another color ... I gave three stars only because they did not fit otherwise they are five star boots! Yes I would recommend them to a friend or anyone looking for excellent quality boot!
