Little known fact: the T in T-shirt actually stands for Tyrannosaurus. Just as the cutest of modern day birds are descended from the most fearsome of prehistoric dinosaurs, so too is the T-shirt descended from a particularly vicious prehistoric ancestor.

T-Shirts were once the most powerful animals on the planet. They were fearsome creatures with razor sharp teeth, muscular haunches and, of course, cute, tiny, dangling arms.

It wasn’t until cavemen arrived on the scene that the wild T-Shirt was knocked off the top of the food chain. As a survival strategy, wild packs of T-Shirts began following bands of early humans, feeding on their scraps. Eventually, the two formed a symbiotic relationship and evolved over time to suit each other’s needs.

The T-Shirt’s powerful jaws dulled into a slightly accented collar and it’s vestigial haunches were eventually bred out of the species. Those cute, tiny, dangling arms evolved into a stylish cap-sleeve, suitable for warm weather or layering.
