It’s not just a flask that looks like an iPhone…it’s a famous flask that looks like an iPhone.

At first glance, this flask seems pretty great. You can bring it into music festivals, expensive bars, or just use it to convince everyone that you finally traded in your old flip phone for an iPhone.

But did you know that this flask was also featured on the popular reality television competition Shark Tank? It’s true! In fact, the iFlask’s brief stint as a  Shark Tank “shark” is just one credit this little flask has had during its impressive tv career.

Law and Order: SVU
Like many great actors, the iFlask got its acting start with an appearance on Law and Order, playing the role of an unlucky restaurant manager who finds a dead patron in a restaurant bathroom. The iFlask’s character is an early suspect for the crime, but is definitively ruled out right at the point in the episode where the plot gets too confusing to follow.

American Idol
Most people don’t remember that the first season of American Idol was hosted by two people: the now-famous Ryan Seacrest and the iFlask. Though the iFlask was, by all accounts, an excellent reality show host with a penchant for identifying nascent talent, it left the show after just one season, hoping to explore more serious acting options.

Entourage
Hoping that a contract with HBO would solidify its reputation as a “real” actor, the iFlask accepted a small recurring role on a late season of Entourage. The iFlask’s character was notoriously reviled and the iFlask’s performance in the show was unanimously panned. The iFlask was not invited to appear in the Entourage movie.

The Today Show
After its character on Entourage was killed off in that tragic luxury watch accident, the iFlask decided to try its hand at meteorology. As it turns out, actual smartphones give much more accurate weather predictions than flasks that look like smartphones. After just a few weeks, the iFlask’s tenure on the show was terminated.
